Executive Chef Brett Mayer grew up on Cape Cod, learning the ins and outs of a busy kitchen by working alongside her grandfather. She completed her culinary education at Newbury College and began her career at Harvard Square’s Charles Hotel. She later returned to the Cape, continuing her culinary journey at the Woods Hole Golf Club.
Brett uses her creativity and experience to create unique and inspired dishes reflective of her refined, contemporary style. An advocate of health, nutrition and sustainable food producers, Brett uses locally sourced ingredients, when possible, and enjoys incorporating Mediterranean flavors into her dishes.
Outside of the kitchen, Brett is a personal trainer and nutrition coach, as well as practiced martial artist. She enjoys music and working out in her free time.
A Provincetown native, Brett brings over 20 years of experience to Weathervane; her food and name sure to become a staple in the South Shore dining community.
